Description

The all-new “Serum Classic Trance” by Aiyn Zahev features 180 presets inspired by some of the best trance tunes from the turn of the millennium. While Serum has a pristine clear sound, the sounds here make full use of the filters, EQ, distortion/clipping, and the dynamics section to bring out tones that are classic in character but will fit right in with modern production styles.

There’s a strong emphasis here on the core of great production sounds. Basses, Leads, Pads and plucks, even digital vocal-like sounds, with just a handful of drum and FX sounds for good measure.

Since Serum features a basic sample playback oscillator, I thought it ideal to use small single samples expand the palette of this bank in key areas. Adding stereo waveforms and noise goes a long way, along with waveforms reminiscent of classic digital wave playback (PCM) synths.

Serum Classic Trance will be a huge asset to anyone working in the EDM genre, whether in the modern classic trance resurgence, modern melodic techno (which commonly utilizes retro trance sounds with a wink and a nod), or anything in between.

The bank breaks down into the following: 36 Basses, 33 Leads, 33 Pads, 18 Plucks, 47 various assorted sounds, and a handful of FX and Drum presets. Many of these sounds can cross categories, plucks and leads making for great bass sounds, basses making for good plucks, etc

Features:
– 180 Presets for Serum 1.368 or greater
– Modwheel and velocity assignments where useful
– Macro assignments for tone variations and effects mix on many presets
– MIDI included to inspire ideas and help with the creative process

Requirements:
Xfer Serum 1.368 or later version

Installation Guide

Most of our synthesizer related products coming with an additional installation guide, which easily explains, how to install and use the presets.

If for some reason, there is no guide inside the product package – or the included guide doesn`t help or answers your questions, you can also take a look in our Help Centre – which covers the loading of 3rd party presets for several common synthesizers plugins like Sylenth1, Massive, u-He DIVA and more. In addition, our F.A.Q. may also cover some questions.

However, in some cases like hardware synthesizers, the usage and loading of 3rd party presets can be more difficult or untypical compared to software synthesizers. In such cases, please see the manual of the synthesizer itself – this usually covers all topics related to the synthesizer completely and will give you the best guideline.
